There is nothing better than a first-hand experience and having spent four days in Club Med’s flagship ski resort in Peisey Vallandry, I can really see what they have to offer and what good value it is. From arrival all food and beverages are included so when it comes to some après ski no one has to worry about poor Euro exchange rates! - They even have little mountain huts to stop for a warm hot chocolate or glass of cava! When it comes to lunch, some of the resorts even allow you to eat at another Club Med property if yours is a little to far away!

A club med ski holiday also includes all tuition and ski passes. On site they book all the tuition depending on your level and your lift passes are handed to you on check in - no queuing for ages at the local lift office – its so convenient! Every property has its own ski hire location with heated secure boot lockers. Everything you need is under one roof! Most of the ski resorts are in fantastic locations allowing you easy ski in/ski out access onto the mountains.

The resort of Peisey Vallandry is about two and a half hours transfer from Geneva. It is a pretty little village giving great access into the fantastic Paradiski ski area. The hotel itself is only about five years old, and is rated as a 4 trident hotel. There are a number of different room choices including spacious family suites. Another included extra is the Children’s Club from the ages 4 months to 17 years. Mum and Dad can spend the day on the slopes whilst the kids are well provided for with English speaking nannies! The leisure facilities at Peisey for me are the biggest bonus, the pool is an outdoor heated swimming pool with a large sun terrace to sit and have a drink or two after a hard day on the slopes! If you like saunas, steam rooms and love a massage then you won’t be disappointed with this hotel - the spa is fantastic. And if you’re not an early bird then every night they have entertainment and a night club which opens twice a week!

This was my first experience of a club med ski package and I have to say I will definitely be going again. From the fantastic facilities to the gourmet food, it really is excellent value for money and in my opinion the best ski package you could ever be offered!
